- Timothy Goble, PhD, CNIM, Research Associate/Neurophysiologist, joined Sentient Medical Systems in 2007. He received his PhD and MS in Neuroscience from the University of Texas, Dallas. Dr. Goble is a member of the Society for Neuroscience.
- Laverne Gugino, MD, PhD, Supervising Physician, joined Sentient Medical Systems in 2003. He received his PhD and MD from the Medical College of Georgia. Since 1988, Dr. Gugino has been the Director of the Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring Division which he founded within the Department of Anesthesia at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston. Dr. Gugino is an Associate Professor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School and recently served on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring.
- Changqing Kao, PhD, Director of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) Services, joined Sentient Medical Systems in 2001. He received his MD from Bethune Medical College in Changchun, China and his PhD in Neurophysiology from the Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Kao has supervised over 400 DBS cases. He received the Chancellor's Research Award from Vanderbilt University in 2006 and the American Society for Neurophysiological Monitoring Research Prize (jointly) in 2008.
- Stephen Oppenheimer, MD, PhD, is Vice President, Director of Research, and Chief Medical Officerat Sentient Medical Systems and Professor of Neurological Surgery (Adjunct) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is the founding Director of the Stroke and Neurocardiology Programs at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where he held Professorial appointments in Neurology and in Medicine (Cardiology). He is an internationally recognized authority on stroke and the cerebral circulation, serves on the editorial board of several international neurological journals, and has authored a book and approximately 200 publications. He has served on or chaired peer review committees for the NIH and the American Heart Association, and joined Sentient in 2005.
- Alexander Razumovsky, PhD is Director of Sentient NeuroCare Services, Inc. and has been with the company since 2002. He is the founding Director of the Neurosonology Program and Neurocirculatory Physiology Laboratory at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and held Professorial appointments in Neurology and Anesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine. He is a nationally and internationally recognized authority on transcranial Doppler ultrasound, the cerebral circulation, and intracranial pressure, and serves on various international and national committees/societies. Dr. Razumovsky has numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters on transcranial Doppler ultrasound, cerebral blood flow, and intracranial pressure.
- Michael Remple, PhD, Regional Director of Clinical Research and Associate Director of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) Services, joined Sentient Medical Systems in 2006. Dr. Remple received his PhD from Vanderbilt University and is a Member of ASSFN and ASET.
- Bonita Siegel, MD, Supervising Neurologist, obtained her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin and completed her neurological residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia where she also completed a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology. She joined Sentient Medical Systems in 2006 and has supervised over 1,000 Intraoperative Monitoring cases. Dr. Siegel has extensive clinical neurophysiological experience and is a board certified Neurologist.
- Aubrey Wright, MD, is the Senior Supervising Neurologist. She trained at Vanderbilt and Penn State Universities and completed her Fellowship Training in Clinical Neurophysiology at Vanderbilt University. She joined Sentient in 2004 and has supervised over 5,000 Intraoperative Monitoring cases.
