Laverne Gugino, MD, PhD, Supervising Physician, joined Sentient Medical Systems in 2003. He received his PhD and MD from the Medical College of Georgia. Since 1988, Dr. Gugino has been the Director of the Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring Division which he founded within the Department of Anesthesia at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston. Dr. Gugino is an Associate Professor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School and recently served on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring.
