Our first Sentient Hero's story:

Sara Arnold

Back in the beginning of the year, Business Development responded to an RFP at a Health Care System in eastern Tennessee. They attended a meeting on March 20.

On Tuesday April 3, we received a call that they wanted to try us out starting with cases the next day on April 4. Now when you get a test case this is something that you want to do first rate, do it extremely well and make sure it all comes together. This was really important as this was the first time they would be using our services. The LLC clinical manager was unable to cover with his staff due to illnesses and other planned activities. A call was made to Sara Arnold, and she graciously agreed to get on a plane that day; the call was made at 10:30 am and the plane left at 4:45 pm. Sara arrived in Ashville, NC at 8:44 pm and drove 1.5 hours to Kingsport, TN. She did one case on April 4 and then two cases on April 5. Sara flew home April 6. The cases were with two different surgeons. The hospital was very complimentary and very positive. We have been going there ever since, and we just got a contract signed with this hospital today.

Additionally, in Sara Arnold's praise, this was a situation where both surgeons threatened to walk from the hospital to their sister hospital if they weren't happy with the IOM services. So that was a very big compliment that they gave to Sara.

These are the types of things that make and will make us an exceptional company. Sara was a team player and jumped in to help another LLC at the last minute, staying three nights away from home. Thanks and kudos to Sara! Thank you for what you have done, for what you do, and for what you will do.
