July 2007 Sentient Hero: Mike Remple, Ph.D.

Mike is a PhD who works with us at Vanderbilt University. Not only does he perform research activities at the university, but he, along with Chris Chao, performs monitoring for DBS cases across the country. Through his efforts we have performed our first cases at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida and has used his successful surgeries there to discuss potential opportunities for us to also do IOM monitoring  for their surgeons. He has made introductions for us with several machine providers regarding the possibility of us working with them to develop mutually beneficial business relationships.
Mike exudes enthusiasm for what he does and within minutes of meeting him, you know that this is an individual who cares about what he does and is very good at it. Mike continually looks for ways to continue his personal growth in the field and seeks ways for the company to grow.
